The Womble Underground Press Fanzine has been short-listed for the award of Best Fanzine of a Non-League Club. The voting is pretty simple. Just visit this link to The Football Census Website and answer 4 questions.
We know that this is more a popularity contest as you probably never heard of the other options (well, maybe a couple) but we hope you would still vote for us.
If nothing else, the publicity will be good for the Club and we might get a free lunch out it, which is nice

Okay, the headline is shit, but I wasn’t feeling clever…
Dons fan and author (like the two statements are ever relevant! Dons fan and keen twitcher, etc,) Andy Brassell gets the interview treatment on EPL talk. yes, the Premier League is known in ESPN speak as the EPL. get used to it..
“Well, I don’t exactly wish MK Dons well, that’s for sure. And of course I felt a great sense of loss when the move became concrete with the FA appeal decision, shamelessly buried in the midst of England’s 2002 World Cup campaign by the spineless people who allowed the decision to pass contrary to their own laws.”

Dario Gradi threw his weight behind the independent supporters’ group who had already moved off to form AFC Wimbledon. “I subscribe to the fans’ trust and I have tried to support them in whatever way I can. I think that is in keeping with the Wimbledon spirit,” said the Crewe boss, and former Wimbledon manager, at the time. I can’t identify with Milton Keynes. It is not the Wimbledon I know or knew. I don’t believe in a football club being able to get up and go somewhere else.”
